**Staff note from Citizen Scientist email 10/14/21: "The state is drawing the lake down as is done every year at this time, the first board in the dam has been pulled and each week another will be pulled until all four are out each board is 8" tall so the lake will be 30" to 32" lower for the winter and all structures will be removed so the ice does not destroy them including the measurement scale, so measurements will stop as of tomorrow the 15Th and will resume in april after ice out and the scale will be put back to the exact spot and depth as it is now" |
